

Among professional developers, use of TypeScript has risen from 36.42 percent last year to 40.08 percent this time round, and JavaScript (while still the number one) has dropped fractionally from 68.62 percent to 67.9 percent – suggesting that a small but significant group now code only in TypeScript when targeting a JavaScript runtime.
