To my mind the javascript files and css were all linking correctly and the code was correct because it was achieving the anticipated results.
Still within Dreamweaver, I viewed my site in a few different browsers and everything worked fine. Most of this was done within Dreamweaver and I did include some snippets of code that were copied and pasted from the internet.
So, I have created an index.html file with links to external files in subdirectory folders (css/style.css, js/javascript.js etc.) I have also included some jquery plugins in the js folder which are referenced in my index page within the script src= "" tag. Please be patient with me as I am still grasping the whole web development thing and much of it technical stuff still goes over my head.
I realise other people have posted with very similar problems, but having read a few of these threads and trying out the proposed solutions, nothing seems to resolve my issue.įirst of all let me say that this is my first attempt at a website and I am half expecting the answer to be flaming obvious.
